U.S – AIB International Certification Services, an organization dedicated to performing the Global Food Safety Initiative certification audits for the global food supply chain, has announced that Daniel Baldwin has been elected as Chairperson of its Board of Directors.

Baldwin, is a veteran of the professional pest prevention and food safety industries, and Vice President of technical and training services of Hawx Pest Control headquartered in Ogden, Utah.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to work with such an amazing group of people, in support of this important organization. As an added bonus, I get to work with two of my mentors,” he expressed via a LinkedIn post.

AIB International Certification Services is a wholly owned subsidiary and separate entity from AIB International.

With the purpose of elevating safety and integrity throughout the food supply chain, the company offers certification services for food manufacturing, packaging and storage and distribution.

AIB International has also welcomed four new members to the Board of the AIB Certification Services.

The four members include Christopher Beck, Vice President of Finance of Sporting Kansas City, Lael W. Hamilton, Manager Packaging Engineer of The Kroger Co, Trish Lequier, Senior Director of Food Safety at Loblaw Companies Limited, and Stephen Thome, Owner and Food Safety Consultant of SMT Food Safety Solutions.

The Kroger Company, is an American retail company that operates supermarkets and multi-department stores throughout the United States.

On the other hand, Loblaw Companies Limited is a Canadian retailer encompassing corporate and franchise supermarkets operating under 22 regional and market-segment banners.

The new Board members join a dedicated group of industry leaders who support the continuous improvement in food safety management systems across the industry.
