MEA – Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, has appointed Khurram Majeed as Executive Vice-President, Commodities, Industry, and Facilities for the Middle East, Caspian, and Africa (MEA) region, effective April 1st, 2024.

This move is part of the Group’s ongoing efforts to optimize market opportunities and enhance operational capabilities across the MEA region.

In his new role, Khurram Majeed will play a pivotal role in driving the Group’s growth agenda in the MEA region, capitalizing on the diverse opportunities presented by sectors such as natural resources, construction, and industry.

He brings over two decades of industry leadership experience, having held senior positions in organizations such as Johnson Controls, Baker Hughes, General Electric, Emerson Electric, and Engro Corporation.

His diverse background spans multiple sectors, including energy, oil & gas, and industrial automation across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Khurram holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.

Majeed’s extensive experience and proven track record in senior leadership positions across various global organizations make him well-equipped to lead Bureau Veritas’ initiatives and navigate the complexities of the MEA market.
