UK – Prof. Consulting Group, a highly brand-driven food and grocery fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) consultancy, has reinforced its team in the UK with Mark Bristow, an expert in food safety and quality assurance.

Founded in Australia in 2019, Prof. Consulting Group has quickly expanded beyond its native market, and now has a growing team in Europe, which consists of associates based in Germany and the UK, among others. The firm provides end-to-end services to clients around the world.

Prof. has appointed Mark Bristow as a Global Senior Food Safety, Technical & Quality Leader, continuing the UK expansion of the firm’s offering.

Having spent over two decades in the food industry driving change and compliance across manufacturing, retail, QSR, distribution and end to end supply chains, his knowhow will prove invaluable to current and future clients of the Prof. Consulting Group.

Previously, he worked at Global Technical Director for Pret a Manger, where he led the implementation of a business-wide safety strategy for the group.

Other roles with Sainsburys, McCormick & Company, and Martin Brower have taken him to many places within Europe, Asia and the US.

“In a constantly changing world of food regulations, Mark has led early adoption and key stakeholder engagement to protect consumers and build brand trust. He believes that everyone has the right to safe and delicious food that has been ethically produced. He has a huge passion for fostering strong and resilient teams that want to deliver to these high standards,” Prof. Consulting Group noted in a statement.

Prof. Consulting Group helps players in the food and grocery chain with growth strategy, management, operations and the delivery of change, according to Consultancy.uk.

The Melbourne headquartered consulting firm further expanded its European team with Andy Adcock, an Associate based in the UK, earlier in the year.

It also announced a new partnership with UK based software company S4RB, which boosted its supply chain offering.

“Our expertise covers FMCG in all of its forms, including fresh produce and frozen foods, grocery, non-food, and pet. Whether you are looking to acquire a business or capitalize on the full potential of your own, we’re here to accelerate your growth,” states the company on its website.
