U.S – Rentokil Initial, a global leader in pest control and hygiene services, has announced the appointment of Brad Paulsen as the CEO of its North America Region.

Paulsen, a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in leadership roles within the distribution and maintenance sectors, will bring his expertise to drive the company’s growth and integration efforts in the region.

Previously at Rexel USA, where he served as CEO, Paulsen played a pivotal role in managing a vast network of over 450 branches and overseeing annual sales exceeding U.S$7 billion in the electrical parts and solutions distribution sector.

His distinguished career also includes a stint as the Chief Operating Officer at HD Supply, one of the largest maintenance, repair, and operating product distributors in the United States.

Before that, Paulsen spent over nine years at The Home Depot, contributing to various merchandising leadership roles.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Paulsen stated, “I’m excited to be joining this world-class company and very much looking forward to working with John Myers (US Pest Control CEO) and the team to deliver the integration, building on the strong foundations that have already been laid.”

Paulsen, a graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor’s degree in economics, further solidifies his business acumen with a master’s in business administration from Vanderbilt University.

He has served as a non-Executive Director for Dot Family Holdings, the largest food industry redistributor in North America, for the past two years.

Rentokil Initial’s CEO, Andy Ransom, expressed confidence in the appointment, highlighting Paulsen’s extensive leadership experience in multi-site retail and route-based service organizations.

Ransom emphasized the significant growth and value creation opportunities as Rentokil Initial integrates Terminix in North America, with Paulsen’s track record positioning him as a valuable addition to the company.

“I can’t wait to get started,” said Paulsen, signaling his eagerness to leverage Rentokil Initial’s strengths, including brilliant people, strong brands, innovations, and technologies, to drive profitable growth and enhance customer service in the North American region.
