U.S – Hydrite, a venerable and family-owned chemical manufacturing and service provider established in 1929, is reinforcing its commitment to food safety by announcing the appointment of Steve Tienvieri as Senior Lead Microbiologist.

With a wealth of experience spanning over 26 years in food microbiology and food manufacturing, Tienvieri is poised to play a pivotal role in enhancing food safety techniques and processes at Hydrite.

In his new capacity, Tienvieri will spearhead microbiological troubleshooting, a critical function in maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in the food industry.

His responsibilities will also encompass the development of practical strategies tailored to food safety, championing the Hydrite Academy, and overseeing food safety and sanitation technical training.

Furthermore, Tienvieri will play a central role in program development and the integration of cutting-edge technology into Hydrite’s food safety practices.

Hydrite, a stalwart in the chemical manufacturing and distribution landscape, boasts expertise in a wide range of areas, including food and dairy sanitation, organic processing, liquid sulfites, foam control, and water treatment chemistries.

The addition of Tienvieri to their team reflects their unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in all aspects of their business.

Tienvieri brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. His background encompasses a broad spectrum of food safety disciplines, including Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, audits, regulatory compliance, environmental monitoring and investigations, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Preventive Controls (PC) frameworks, as well as food quality and safety plan development and employee training.

Additionally, Tienvieri is certified as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) trainer, further emphasizing his proficiency in ensuring food safety.
